Amazon India revamps return policy for electronic items

Amazon India says no refunds will be offered on return of tablets, laptops, desktops and cameras; replacements though are available

Amazon India clients returning tablets, portable workstations, desktops, screens, cameras and camera focal points obtained after 11 May won’t get discounts yet can profit of substitutions if required, the internet business firm has said.

“All tablets, portable workstations, desktops, screens, cameras and camera focal points that are satisfied by Amazon and obtained on or after 11 May 2016, are qualified for a substitution just strategy and will never again be qualified for discounts. On the off chance that you have gotten an inadequate or a harmed item, you will be qualified for a free substitution,” expressed a post on Amazon India site. Besides, the things should be returned inside 10 days of conveyance, the organization said.

Amazon has authorized a comparable approach for vast apparatuses, for example, ventilation systems, fridges, clothes washers, dishwashers and microwaves, other than furniture.

The Seattle-headquartered organization, which is step by step making up for lost time with Indian adversaries Flipkart Ltd, had in February connected a comparative methodology for cell phones.
